Without any Will the wishes of the deceased are unknown and their estate is divided up in accordance with a set of rules called the Intestacy Rules. The deceased’s preferred person to handle the distribution of their estate or assets (called an executor) is decided by the Court at much greater cost than having an executor appointed under a Will.

The Lost Will Register™ allows someone who has found a lost Will or who some information as to its whereabouts to contact the solicitor or other person who has advertised the lost Will.
